Close Finance, a business, personal, and motor lending firm, has welcomed two senior colleagues to the team to support its next phase of growth.
Stuart Butler (pictured) joins as Business Development Manager and Ben Butlin has been appointed as Key Account Manager.
Stuart has 30 years of banking and lending experience, which includes two decades of undertaking various customer relationship and team management roles in both Guernsey and Jersey. As Business Development Manager, Stuart will work closely with Close Finance’s team leaders and relationship managers, initiating and progressing new business initiatives in both the personal and business sectors.
Ben joins the organisation with a background in customer service and sales roles. His main priority will be growing long-term working relationships with the bank’s intermediary partners and driving business growth from within these channels.
Commenting on these hires, Kevin Allen, Managing Director for Jersey, said: “Both Stuart and Ben are great additions to the business, bringing a wealth of experience and brilliant relationship skills. As a business that prides itself on injecting personality into what can sometimes feel like an impersonal transaction for many customers, I’m excited to be welcoming such talent into the organisation. I look forward to seeing how they both grow and evolve with the company, as well as what new opportunities they bring.”
Stuart Butler added: “Close Finance holds an impressive reputation as a professional and responsible lender which it has developed from serving the people and businesses in the Channel Islands for many years. I’m delighted to be joining at a time when the business has a huge appetite to expand its product offering. I’m looking forward to the challenge of driving the business development activity and supporting the company towards the achievement of its strategic objectives.”
