Digital marketing agency Clicksmith has expanded its team in Guernsey.
Dominic Bennett has joined as digital director, while former journalist and PR account manager Kim Bougourd has become a senior account manager at the agency. Between them they bring more than 40 years’ industry experience.
“It’s an exciting time for Clicksmith. The business has grown considerably over the last three years and the addition of Dom and Kim has further strengthened our offering,” said managing director, George Bett. The agency, previously known as GB Consult, was founded in 2016 and has undergone a rebrand to reflect both the changes in personnel and the additional services it now provides.
“The name Clicksmith represents our combined skills in using the world of digital marketing to give businesses the best possible access to potential customers and clients. Our blend of services means that our clients can tell their story clearly and efficiently, whilst driving sales in a trackable way,” added Mr Bett.
For almost 20 years, Mr Bennett has been involved at senior level in digital businesses across the UK and Channel Islands. He specialises in web technologies and has been behind the creation of a number of well-regarded digital agencies, websites and marketing campaigns.
He is passionate about developing efficient, technology driven businesses and providing engaging online experiences that deliver results across all platforms.
“The decision to join Clicksmith was an easy one. The company’s dedication to delivering results-based marketing strategies in a clear, effective and honest way really appeals and I’m confident our existing and new clients will find the way we do marketing just as attractive,” said Mr Bennett.
Mrs Bougourd has joined Clicksmith as a senior account manager, specialising in copywriting and managing clients’ day-to-day marketing activities. With an eye for detail, she has worked with a range of local and UK businesses, including financial services, utilities, retail, hospitality and education, providing marketing and PR advice, as well as implementing advertising campaigns both online and in print.
She believes brand reputation and good communication is at the heart of every successful business, whatever the size.
“Every business has a story to tell and it’s our job to ensure that our clients are telling their story in the best possible way. Clicksmith is a no-nonsense agency that is able to guide our clients clearly and with integrity,” said Mrs Bougourd.
