The Channel Islands have a strong presence amongst the shortlist of individuals and companies nominated for the prestigious Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation Awards 2024.
In its eighth year now, these annual awards were created to highlight the best brands and their communication strategies. They also recognise the ever important marketing and press function within financial services and the challenges it faces as it switches to ESG stakeholder models.
Now more than ever, the pandemic and remote working have highlighted the importance of communication within organisations and employee brand. Communication tools have also changed, with podcasts and webinars now mainstream. AI is also playing an increasingly important role within the wealth management industry.
The following professionals in the Channel Islands were singled out for their remarkable contributions.

Amongst the Channel Islands based companies or those with branches on the Islands, Guernsey Finance and Standard Bank were shortlisted for Best Events Programme of the Year award, Investec – Art for Guernsey was shortlisted for the Best Sponsorship/Partnership – Arts award and the Government of Jersey was shortlisted in the Best Overall PR category.
