The Channel Islands Co-operative Society’s Travelmaker branches in Jersey and Guernsey have been selected as one of the nation’s top two Touring & Adventure holiday agencies.
They’re named on a power-list of the best agents by industry bible the Travel Trade Gazette.
The TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies list was revealed at a ceremony in Birmingham after an extensive judging process where agents were rated by tour operators and other suppliers, and then assessed by travel trade journalists.
Head of Travel at Travelmarker, Carl Winn, said: “We are delighted to be named one of the nation’s top two Touring and Adventure Agencies in the prestigious TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies. We strive to advance our product knowledge and experience within the touring sector, so we can consistently deliver the best possible service for our clients. It is a fantastic achievement and I’m incredibly proud of our dedicated teams in both islands.”
TTG group editor Pippa Jacks said: “Now in its third year, our Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative has seen us scour the UK and Ireland to uncover its most dedicated and dynamic travel agency businesses. It’s been truly inspiring to hear how these agencies go above and beyond on a daily basis, to deliver extraordinary service and incredible value to their customers, and to support their local communities. Our winners demonstrate that travel retailing in 2018 is a vibrant and successful business sector, and that agents continue to prove their worth by delivering phenomenal customer service.”
More than 900 travel agencies and branches put themselves forward for consideration for TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies 2018 – in association with Kuoni – from which a shortlist of 95 finalists across 19 categories was devised.
