Dr Nigel Roberts, founder of ChannelIsles.net has been taking part in the first, inaugural meeting of the European Top Level Domain Information Sharing and Analysis Centre Cybersecurity Group in Brussels.
The mission of the European Top Level Domain Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (TLD ISAC) is to strengthen the security and resilience of internet domain names in Europe through information sharing, collaboration, and promoting best practices.
It brings together domain registry operators, security experts, and other stakeholders to share threat intelligence, identify emerging trends, and develop proactive measures to prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks The European ISAC is incubated by Centr, the European internet organisation which is based in Brussels.
Centr’s General Manager, Peter van Roste said: “We are committed to support the creation of this important development in cybersecurity, and commit to stand by your side.”
Dr Roberts (pictured) said: “The Channel Islands has always somewhat punched a little above our weight in the international multi-stakeholder environment, and we are pleased to wholeheartedly support this latest effort”.
