Individuals and companies from the Channel Islands have a strong presence again in the shortlist of candidates, put forward for the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards 2024.
The list is now released by the judges and the public vote is open to allow the global private wealth industry to have their say.
Now in their fourteenth year, these prestigious awards recognise the excellence of companies and individuals in the private wealth sector, operating in the major International Financial Centres. The winners will be ultimately judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors and with experience of working with advisors in all the jurisdictions covered.
Jersey and Guernsey figure prominently again in this year’s shortlist, both nominated for the IFC of the Year Award. In addition, there are twenty-six individuals and thirty-six companies with offices in the Channel Islands that have been nominated.
Law firm Ogier has done particularly well, shortlisted for no less than four awards. Thomas Barnes (pictured), MD at Ogier Global in Guernsey, and nominated for the Advisor of the Year – Succession Planning/Trusts award, commented: “Honoured to be shortlisted for a Citywealth IFC Award and many congratulations to all the incredible individuals who made the shortlist. It is inspiring to be among such esteemed company – best of luck to everyone.”
