Island FM and Channel 103 has teamed up with Ravenscroft and Jacksons for this year’s Toy and Gift Appeal which will help ensure no child is without presents this Christmas.
The long running initiative collects toys and gifts for children aged from zero to 16 with the radio stations working closely with charities and agencies to ensure that everything goes to those in need. Donations, which need to be new but not wrapped, can be dropped into the radio stations, Ravenscroft or Jacksons up to Thursday 14th December.
Mark Bousfield, group managing director of Ravenscroft said: “Ravenscroft has sponsored the initiative for twelve years in Guernsey and since it began in Jersey six years ago. The incredible generosity of islanders never ceases to amaze us, and we are grateful to Jacksons in both Jersey and Guernsey for their amazing support and for offering their showrooms as an out of town drop off point.”
Commenting on the Appeal, Andrew Searle, General Manager Jacksons Channel Islands said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Christmas Toy Appeal again this year at a time when the number of local families needing help with gifts at Christmas has grown. We hope that islanders will use our collection points to help spread some festive cheer, donate some gifts and put a smile on the faces of youngsters in the islands.”
