Collas Crill has retained its rankings in Chambers and Partners UK 2021 across all departments and banded individuals in Guernsey and Jersey, with a number of partners being ranked individually for the first time.
Guernsey’s property department, described as ‘highly sought after’, is once again ranked highest with a Band 1 listing. Head of the department, Partner Jason Green is recognised at the same level on an individual basis.
The firm’s dispute resolution teams in both islands keep their places within Band 2. Guernsey partners Michael Adkins and Ben Havard are ranked for the first time individually, both in Band 3, taking the number of ranked partners within Guernsey’s dispute resolution team to four, more than any other such team on the island. Nin Ritchie, Senior Associate in the Guernsey team, is also recognised in the ‘Associate to Watch’ category.
Jersey property, recognised for their ‘excellent service’, also retained their Band 2 listing with Partners Martin Le Boutillier and Pamela Doherty both receiving the same level in their individual listings. The international private client and trusts team (IPCT) is placed in Band 3 in both islands. The Jersey team is described as ‘enormously approachable’, & ‘always balanced and thorough’.
Head of the Guernsey team, Partner Angela Calnan, who is ranked individually in Band 3, received particular praise for being ‘a brilliant client adviser, hugely personable and a great ambassador for the firm’.
Guernsey’s corporate, finance and funds team keep their place within Band 3 and are noted for being ‘fast, responsive, flexible and easy to do business with’. Wayne Atkinson and Sean Cheong, both Partners in the team, are ranked individually for the first time in band 4.
