CBO director Ed Mason-Smith (pictured) was awarded Chartered Project Professional of the Year in recognition of his long-standing dedication to the sector and expertise. His recent achievements include setting up a new Association for Project Management (APM) branch in Guernsey, which is the first new APM branch in 20 years, and steering the development of the Guernsey Project Management Apprenticeship, to inspire and support future Project Managers.
Ed Mason-Smith shared his excitement in winning Chartered Project Professional of the Year: “Thank you to the APM for this award. I feel very honoured to have been recognised in this way, especially by judges who are renowned in this industry.
“I’m proud of contributing not just to the work of CBO, but to Channel Islands and the wider project management sector. It’s been challenging but exciting setting up the new APM branch in Guernsey and working on the Project Management Apprenticeship. I feel inspired to lead our community of project professionals, sharing best practice and knowledge and encouraging new project professionals into the sector. It’s a real privilege.”
Philip Smith, Founder and Director at CBO said: “The CBO team wish our director and colleague Ed many congratulations on his win of Chartered Project Professional of the Year.
“His award is truly well deserved, as he shows proven commitment and expertise in this field.
