Carey Olsen has been named the ‘best offshore law firm’ at the 2023 eprivateclient Excellence Awards – the second time the firm has won the accolade in the ceremony’s three-year history.
The awards, which took place at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, recognise and celebrate the achievements of firms across the UK and offshore legal, tax, fiduciary and advisory professions over the past year.
Alexa Saunders (pictured), partner and head of the firm’s Jersey trusts and private wealth group, accepted the award on behalf of Carey Olsen.
In addition to the internal PAM Insight panel of judges, eprivateclient enlisted a number of industry experts as external judges to select its winners this year.
Commenting on the award win, Alexa said: “It is an honour for Carey Olsen to have once more be named as eprivateclient’s best offshore law firm. The firm’s global trusts and private wealth team has had an exceptional year and I am pleased to see the team’s hard work reflected in this win.”
Carey Olsen provides advice on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey. Carey Olsen’s offices in Hong Kong and Singapore allow the firm to advise clients in Asia on both contentious and non-contentious trusts and private wealth matters.
This accolade follows the recent news that Carey Olsen was crowned Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards 2023.
