Carey Olsen has been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Chambers Europe Awards 2022.
The awards gala, held at the end of last week at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, Spain, recognised international law firms’ pre-eminence and achievements over the past 12 months. Winners were selected across 30 categories following in-depth independent research and analysis, conducted by an experienced team of over 200 researchers, whose rigorous selection process included interviewing referees and clients from every shortlisted firm.
Winners of each category were credited for their outstanding work, notable achievements, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service, with Chambers and Partners highlighting Carey Olsen’s ‘impressive offering, with leading teams in both Guernsey and Jersey’ and how the firm is ‘frequently highlighted by sources for being reliable in providing clear-cut and concise answers to the question in hand’.
Carey Olsen group managing partner Alex Ohlsson said: “We are truly honoured to have won the coveted Offshore Law Firm of the Year award and for Carey Olsen’s expertise and growth over the past 12 months to be recognised at one of the industry’s most prestigious award ceremonies.”
“This recognition is a clear indication of the strength of our global teams and reflects the firm’s dedication to consistently delivering excellence for our clients and the calibre of our lawyers. I am grateful to each and every one of my colleagues who have contributed to this win; these awards celebrate the best in achievement, ability and performance and I am excited to see what is next for Carey Olsen.”
