Carey Olsen secured eight Band One rankings in the 2022 edition of Chambers UK.
The highly respected legal directory, which ranks law firms and their lawyers based purely on client feedback, has awarded Carey Olsen four Band One rankings in both Guernsey and Jersey. In addition, 45 lawyers from across the firm’s Channel Islands and London offices have been individually recognised.
Highlights from this year’s Chambers UK research includes the firm’s Guernsey office being noted for its “high professionalism, with seasoned lawyers who are of an extremely high calibre”, while another industry source describes Carey Olsen as an “excellent firm” and one that “always provides a very high standard of service” along with “good communication throughout the firm”.
The Jersey office is praised for its “very strong depth of knowledge and understanding of Jersey law”, with one commentator explaining: “Going to Carey Olsen has paid off because these guys are clearly extremely good lawyers who work as a team”. Another describes the investment funds team as “best in class for the Jersey asset management industry”.
The Chambers UK rankings follow last month’s publication of the 2022 edition of The Legal 500 UK, which also saw Carey Olsen lead offshore firms in the Channel Islands with 18 top-tier rankings.
