To celebrate their 30th anniversary, Carers Jersey are launching The Corporate Carers Campaign: All in the same boat.
They are seeking 30 local businesses to pledge £1K each to create a £30K fund to provide Jersey carers with desperately needed respite.
We are all ‘in the same boat’ when it comes to caring for our loved ones, whether a busy working family or retired grandparents or taking care of siblings, so the charity is reaching out to the community to support this campaign.
In the Dare to Care survey conducted in partnership with Enable in 2022, respite was one of the most urgent requirements for local carers so Jersey Carers has taken up the challenge to seek ways to provide more respite.
The charity is a small but dynamic team keen to raise awareness and increase membership in order to support all carers in Jersey.
