Senior Manager – Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager specializing in Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting to lead and oversee critical reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and submission of tax compliance and reporting obligations, including FATCA and CRS returns, ensuring adherence to all relevant deadlines and regulations.
- Act as the subject matter expert on AEOI regimes and other regulatory reporting requirements, particularly those applicable in the jurisdictions in which they operate.
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for regulatory reporting to improve accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on reporting requirements.
- Lead and manage regulatory projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring milestones are met within agreed timeframes.
- Stay updated on global tax regulations and reporting standards to provide guidance and ensure compliance.
- Oversee the team, providing regular performance feedback and fostering professional development.
Essential qualifications and skills
- Qualified ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ATT, CTA, or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of AEOI regimes and a proven track record of managing FATCA/CRS return preparation and submission.
- Familiarity with multiple regulatory reporting regimes is advantageous.
- Previous line management experience is preferred.
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines with multiple priorities effectively.
- A self-starter with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience leading complex projects involving diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to guide, coach, and mentor junior team members.
