Risk Operations Manager
Skipton International are seeking two ambitious risk-orientated individuals to join our growing Risk and Compliance team.
Reporting to the Risk Manager, you’ll be assisting in providing support, challenge, advice and guidance across the business in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure close collaboration with relevant stakeholders/colleagues to ensure delivery of plans (including with SBS Group).
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding and adherence to industry and regulatory standards and credit risk, operational risk and other risk policies, frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Maintain a good understanding of current and future business needs, and of emerging risks and issues relating to area of credit, operational and other risk responsibilities.
- To support other business areas in identifying and developing risk awareness.
- Maintain effective relationships across the business to support key objectives.
Required skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships both within the company and the wider business environment in order to achieve objectives.
- Knowledge of Credit, Operational and Financial Risks.
- Ability to manage and report on the Group Risk Management Framework.
- Proven ability in identifying and documenting risks and the design and/or recommendation of appropriate management controls.
