People Business Partner – Organisational Effectiveness
Our People Services team is expanding. We have are looking for a People Business Partner – Organisational Effectiveness.
The People Business Partner Organisational Effectiveness will work closely with the CPO, Senior Leaders and People Partners to co-design and implement People strategy that aligns with Company objectives, driving employee engagement and fostering a high-performance culture. This role will leverage data and analytics, talent management expertise and change management skills to implement people solutions that enhance productivity, support growth and improve organisational health.
Key accountabilities
- Manage People Operations Team providing direction, support, guidance and training where required to 1st line reports.
- Identify and manage continuous improvement by conducting thorough reviews of existing people processes to identify areas for improvement and to streamline processes for increased efficiency
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, role definition and team structure to enhance agility and operational efficiency
- Leading on Organisational Design, creating a structured establishment including people architecture, job families and job titles
- Design, deliver and implement a cohesive performance management framework, ensuring effective goal setting and performance monitoring and measurement to achieve fairness, consistency, and a clear roadmap of required performance for colleagues and Managers
- Ensure our systems, policies and policies are up to date and aligned to our values and goals
- Assess existing People systems and identify opportunities for improvement or integration with new technologies
- Manage People Projects and Change Management efforts for key initiatives, providing strategies, tools and support to help teams navigate transition, to support efficiency, streamlining and automation of processes
- Lead on People Risk & Governance, supporting consistency and effectiveness. Overseeing regulatory reporting and audit processes
- Collaborate with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to develop and deliver initiatives to improve and support protection and growth within the business
- Provide People expertise in the areas organisational change, development, resourcing
- Collaborate with the People team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
- Support the design and development of approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction
- Develop, collate, analyse, and interpret People MI (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition, sickness absence etc) to identify themes and guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to client groups
- Assist with effective case management of people related issues such as disciplinaries, performance management, grievance, and absence management
- Provide thought leadership that challenges the traditional way of doing things in relation to people, culture and change through an understanding of external insights
- Role model collaborative behaviours across both the business and the wider People function
- To ensure that the end-to-end procurement and supplier life cycle is followed for any supplier relationship
- Adhere to CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.

- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Essential requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent professional and/or vocational qualifications/training/accreditation in HRM
- CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent
- Project management skills/ experience
- Ability to influence, engage and work in partnership with senior stakeholders
- Previous leadership experience
- Commitment to role modelling behaviours and ways of working that align with Skipton International Values
- Skills and experience of planning, managing and evaluating strategic change projects
- Skills in resource/budgetary management
- Knowledge of generalist Human Resource practice; knowledge how to build a strategy
