
Marketing Associate
Skipton International is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Associate to join our Marketing and Communications team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our marketing strategy, supporting a wide range of initiatives across digital and traditional channels. Based in Guernsey or Jersey, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our brand, supporting community engagement, and delivering impactful campaigns that align with our business goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and support marketing communications across offline and online media, including social media and advertising.
- Contribute to the success of Skipton’s SEO programme.
- Support the delivery of our CSR initiatives, including community sponsorships and events.
- Maintain and update the Skipton International website, ensuring timely and relevant content.
- Provide marketing analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with third-party agencies to deliver creative, compliant marketing materials.
- Assist with market research to better understand current and future customer needs.
- Plan and execute advertising campaigns aligned with corporate objectives.
- Produce accurate and brand-consistent product marketing materials and literature.
- Embrace change and contribute to continuous improvement across marketing processes.
- Ensure compliance with data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in a marketing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident engaging with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of and interest in the financial services sector.
- Experience with web content and social media management.
Desirable:
- Professional qualification in Marketing or equivalent.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, or Salesforce.
- Understanding of media regulation (e.g. Clearcast).
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Specific knowledge of the banking sector.
