Managing Director for asset management firm
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to lead a Guernsey-based asset management firm focused on South African investors. This role requires strong expertise in investment management, strategic leadership, and operational oversight.
The successful candidate will shape long-term investment strategies, lead capital-raising efforts, and manage investor relations. Oversight of fund operations, compliance with GFSC regulations, and risk management are key aspects of the role. They will also play a critical part in driving innovation and representing the firm in regulatory and industry forums.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, at least seven years of experience in asset or hedge fund management, and a proven track record in regulated financial environments. Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills are essential.
