IT Project Manager for provider of financial markets and securities services
A provider of financial markets and securities services company is looking to hire a Project Manager for it IT Department in Guernsey.
Reporting directly to the Head of Information Systems, the successful candidate will join a dynamic and forward-thinking team and act as the driving force for the development and optimisation of our client’s business operations.
- Coordinate with the efforts of team members and third-party providers to deliver projects within strict deadlines and within budget.
- Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle and ensure that project objectives align with company objectives.
- Liaise with business product owners to understand operating processes and needs. Define and develop project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress.
- Manage project budgets and costs.
- Support the implementation of improvements.
- Report regularly to key stakeholders to show progress.
- Support decision-making.
To be suitable for this role, you will have experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, the ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and excellent communication skills. Be a team player who can place your activity within the context of the wider Company. Ideally hold a Project Management professional qualification. Experience in the finance industry and an understanding of markets would be advantageous.
