IT Application Engineer
A local telecoms company are looking for a confident and technically skilled IT Application Engineer to join the team. This role focuses on supporting and delivering the company’s Mimecast and Managed IT services, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
As part of the Application Support engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise solutions. They will work closely with clients on installations, fault resolution, and project delivery, while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to continuous improvement across services and processes.
The ideal candidate will need strong experience in Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and email security tools. Hands-on knowledge of Mimecast and relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. A solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud technologies is also important. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
