Head of Procurement based in Jersey of Guernsey
We are excited to be looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Procurement to join a local, fast-growing organisation in the Channel Islands.
As the Head of Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the Group’s Procurement function. This includes leading supplier negotiations and overseeing fleet management and property lease negotiations. They will work closely with the senior management team to ensure that procurement practices align with the overall business objectives and that suppliers meet the standards of quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have proven experience leading teams and expertise from senior roles within commercial sectors. They should showcase strong negotiation skills and knowledge of legal contract specifics. Additionally, should be able to analyse data critically using financial modelling techniques, enabling them to make informed decisions that contribute to the bottom line.
In this role, there will be the opportunity to lead a team of procurement professionals and work collaboratively with the Company’s senior management team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our procurement practices.
