Banking System Analyst/Developer
At Skipton International we have an exciting opportunity within our Business Applications team for a Banking System Analyst/Developer.
As a Banking System Analyst/Developer you will be proving support for Banking Systems, developing solutions and testing software.
Key accountabilities
- Handling, resolving and where necessary escalating application support tickets.
- Working with different teams across the business to identify where there are business requirements for improvements in processes, controls or management information.
- Monitor, evaluate and prioritise multiple business needs based on several factors (i.e. cost v benefit, regulatory requirements etc).
- Design, develop and document suitable business solutions which will meet the business requirements or work closely with an appropriate third part to develop a design. Present designs to key stakeholders and the management team.
- Adhere to CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
- Adhere to the Skipton International core values and expected behaviours.
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Essential requirements
- Strong grades at GSCE/A Level
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships both within the company and the wider business environment in order to achieve objectives.
- Ability to analyse and interpret various forms of data and present the findings in a relevant format.
- Ability to manage self and others in order to deliver timely, quality output.
- Experience providing application support for a broad range of business applications
- Accountable for high profile deliverables (with good track record of quality delivery)
- Excellent understanding of IT banking systems specifically:
- Temenos T24 – Arrangement Architecture module, Operations, Deployment
- Temenos TCIB
- EFS lasernet document management system
- HID 2 Factor Authentication System
