Can you help Skipton International evolve into the future? Skipton is looking for a Chief Information Officer to join and lead the Technology Division.
As CIO, you will develop and manage Technology within Skipton’s locations and ensure that effective Technology strategies, policies and procedures are in place. Your team will deliver appropriate outcomes and rewarding experiences for colleagues and customers, in an efficient, scalable, secure and resilient manner, which are compliant with the relevant Board, legal and regulatory frameworks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own, lead and communicate the Technology and Information vision and strategy.
- Drive and support the development of business plans and growth, ensuring that they are using and exploiting new and appropriate technologies, and help to identify opportunities and risks for delivering services and products.
- Ensure the provision of effective, scalable, secure and resilient Technology platforms.
- Embed, reinforce and champion the management of risk in processes in the 1st line so that performance is delivered within the Board risk appetites and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to own and drive the Data strategy.
- Own and lead technology and facilities solutions to deliver Operational Resilience.
- Expand and develop digital channels for customer onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Provide effective project management and change delivery support.
- Provide strong, role model leadership to Technology functions.
- Ensure that appropriate management information and reporting processes are in place from both direct and indirect line reports to ensure assurance is received on a regular basis that procedures, systems and controls are operating effectively across all areas of accountability.
- Provide effective oversight of their premises, ensuring that they adhere to the requirements of its leases, health and safety laws and any other relevant laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates.
- Manage Technology department within agreed budgets.
