The House of Green, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Michael Pardo, a pioneer in the California cannabis industry for over five years, as their new Chief Technical Officer, further solidifying the company’s position at the forefront of the industry.
Following his relocation to Guernsey from California, Michael, who holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering, heads up The House of Green’s technical and extraction team. Prior to his move he had established a track record in cannabis research and analytics through his work on multiple cannabis related engineering projects in the US.
Such projects involved scaling and optimising production methods for both THC and CBD distillation, CBD crystallisation, cannabis-derived terpene extraction, chromatography, and solvent recovery among other unit-operations.

He brings a wealth of experience with him having led the design and build out for more than five cannabis processing businesses throughout the western United States with input capacities ranging from 250 kg – 2,000 kg of biomass per day.
