300 cyclists took part in the fifth C5 Cycle Challenge on 8 September in memory of Neil “Ginge” Hussey and more than £3,000 has been raised for the Neil Hussey Heart Charity.
There were three routes which all started and finished at The Radisson Waterfront Hotel. A distance of 100km for more experienced riders, a 55km route for recreational riders and a 24km route for casual riders. Ian Williams and the Jersey Rouleurs supported the day with planning the routes, providing back stop riders and the lead car.
Cimandis donated bananas, Vend donated water and the Radisson supported with refreshments and food. C5 thank everyone who took part and supported as they helped make the day a huge success.
