BWCI is delighted to be able to offer a bursary to a local student once again in 2021.
The BWCI Group, established in 1979, is an independent consultancy and group of actuaries, consultants, insurance and pensions specialists in the Channel Islands. The group employs over 120 staff in its offices in Guernsey and Jersey.
BWCI are inviting applications from Guernsey resident students with local residential qualifications who have, or are expected to achieve, at least two A grades at A level, one of which must be in maths. Students studying for a degree in maths, economics or degrees with some maths content will be given preference.
Since its launch back in 2007, our bursaries have supported 15 local university students in several ways.
BWCI’s bursary coordinator, Shauna McLaughlin, said “As well as providing and annual bursary of £1,800, we also guarantee at least 2 months of paid work experience during the summer holidays. Students may be able to work for longer, but it’s important that they have some real holiday too!”
The closing dates for entries is 26th February 2021. For further details and an application form, please visit BWCI’s website or contact BWCI’s HR Administrator Shauna McLaughlin.
