Brooks Macdonald International, the independent investment and wealth management company in the Channel Islands, has promoted James Hollowell to the newly created position of Head of Guernsey.
James will play an active role in building the firm’s profile in the Channel Islands and the UK in his new appointment. He has played a vital part in the growth of the firm’s Guernsey private client business over the past decade, working with advisers, trustees and private clients around the world.
James joined the Group in 2012 with more than 25 years’ experience in international financial services from across the offshore banking and investment management sectors. Before joining, James held a senior business development position at Baronsmead Partners LLP. He is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Personal Finance Society.
Brooks Macdonald set up both its Guernsey and Jersey offices in 2012. With £2.5bn funds under management, the firm has since become one of the Channel Islands’ leading wealth management houses.
