Brooks Macdonald International has promoted two members of its Jersey team as the investment firm continues to strengthen its offer for supporting international investors, fiduciaries and financial advisers.
Jonathan Mynes (pictured) has been appointed to Senior Investment Director while Alex Nardone has taken on the role of Business Development Director.
In his new role, Jonathan will work closely with senior colleagues within the International business’ investment team to provide high level strategic direction in support of the firm’s ambitious growth plans.
With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, including a decade with Brooks Macdonald, Jonathan leads a team of 14 investment professionals across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Meanwhile Alex will take on additional responsibility for driving business development activity, focusing on the employer pension market by working with local businesses – establishing new and reviewing existing schemes.
Alex has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services and joined Brooks Macdonald in 2020 from Lloyds Bank International’s funds and investment business, where he held various roles. With expertise in both business development, relationship management and strong links locally and internationally, his recent focus has been on expanding the firm’s European business development strategy and global distribution of its international fund business.
Commenting on the promotions, Richard Hughes, CEO of Brooks Macdonald International, said: “These promotions reflect our ambition, as well as our commitment to recognising and rewarding our people. Both Jonathan and Alex have extensive experience in their respective investment and business development spaces and will add real value and leadership as we maintain our focus on delivering exceptional services to investors, fiduciaries, and advisers.”
