Waitrose Partner Kevin Stone has been promoted to branch manager at the Guernsey Rohais shop.
Mr Stone brings 32 years’ experience at Waitrose having begun his retail career as a Warehouse Partner in the UK Dorchester branch. Since then he has held many managerial positions, working in 10 different branches before moving to Guernsey in April 2016 to work in the Rohais shop.
As the new Rohais branch manager, Mr Stone will be supported by a team of 140 Partners, as Waitrose employees are known.
“I am looking forward to taking on this challenging new roleand continuing to work closely with our Partners. The hustle and bustle of the food retail industry is an exciting place to work. This role will give me the opportunity to help further enhance the great service Waitrose is well-known for and ensure we are showcasing our latest ranges.
“My family and I are so pleased to extend our time on the island. We love living here, especially in the summer when we can walk down to Cobo Bay and enjoy the beautiful coastal views. I also like taking part in marathons and I’m sure the lovely views will continue to motivate me during my training,” said Mr Stone.
