Black Vanilla’s annual work experience event is returning this year from Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 July at the GTA University Centre.
Open to year 12 and 13 students and school leavers, this year’s expanded programme now includes internal communications and digital content. The workshop will give students a whistlestop tour of PR, reputation management, media relations, social media, copywriting, content creation and event management.
Students will gain hands-on experience and hear from local media, event suppliers, and industry experts who will share insights into how these industries collaborate.
At the end of the three days, students will put their skills into practice by presenting their ideas to a panel of experts.
Chloe Chescoe, Senior Account Manager at Black Vanilla, said: “We really enjoy hosting this workshop each year and I look forward to meeting and supporting the next generation of PR and creative professionals.
“We have extended the content of this year’s event to give students a broader understanding of the industry and the career opportunities available. The event has sold out very quickly in previous years, so we encourage students to book early to secure their space!
“As always, a huge thank you to the GTA for hosting us once again this year.”
