BDO Guernsey’s annual intake of trainee accountants has seen six new faces join the business.
Sebastian Hazzan, Yajna Seebaluck, Jake Mahy, Alexander Black, Raoul Mandelli, and Kaylin McPherson have all begun their accountancy careers by joining BDO Guernsey’s Audit department.
The trainees will meet key team members and take on responsibility for their own work, as well as studying for professional accountancy qualifications.
The new trainees’ arrival is particularly timely, as they will enjoy taking the first step in their new careers at BDO’s brand-new office at Plaza House. The BREEAM-accredited building at the Admiral Park complex ensures that they will have a sustainable and welcoming space to learn in as they start the journey toward becoming chartered accountants.
Managing Director of BDO Guernsey, Richard Searle said: “Helping people and businesses to thrive is at the heart of BDO’s values. We are pleased to offer six places to our new Trainees and nurture their careers in the most engaging and productive environment possible at Plaza House.
“I look forward to supporting their progression, which begins on day one.”
