BDO Group in Jersey has made a key appointment. Stuart Richford has been appointed in the new role of ‘Group Director – Financial Services’.
This appointment reflects BDO Group’s continued growth plus its commitment to expand the delivery of integrated, transformative business and professional services to financial services sector clients.
Stuart has over 25 years’ experience in leading change for private equity & fund administration, trust administration and banking services businesses. He previously co-founded Knadel, an independent change management consultancy targeting private equity and corporate service providers. Knadel went on to be acquired by Catalyst and then Sionic, where Stuart led the Jersey office providing transformation advisory and execution services.
In his new role, Stuart will take a lead role in further developing BDO Group’s financial services sector market presence. He will focus on helping clients across the BDO Group, including clients of the Group’s technology business C5 Alliance and its training and development subsidiary ALX Training, by understanding their ambitions and strategic options, and supporting development and execution of deliverable plans to build the enterprise value of their business.
