Accountancy, tax and business advisory firm BDO in Guernsey has strengthened its business operations team with the arrival of four new employees in information technology (IT) and compliance.
Jason Mauger has joined the firm as chief technology officer. He previously worked for a global telecommunications company where he was responsible for global IT operations and a large team of IT professionals. Emma Torode joined as IT support assistant having previously studied with the College of Further Education and completed the BTEC Level 2 Information and Creative Technology First Diploma, BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Computing and the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing.
Compliance manager Christina Stagg joined BDO from an international insurance company where she was a compliance monitoring associate. Christina has two law degrees from Exeter University and a postgraduate diploma in governance, risk and compliance from Manchester University. Amber Martin has also joined the firm’s compliance team as compliance assistant. Amber previously held a similar role at an international bank based in Guernsey.
