BDO Guernsey has promoted 16 of its staff across its Audit, Tax and Operations departments. The most senior move is Trina Street, who has been promoted from Senior Tax Manager to Tax Director.
Since joining BDO in 2016, Trina has brought an enthusiastic approach to her tax advisory work for her clients, who include private individuals and corporations, with a passion for the intricacies of taxation and a strong sense of personal client service.
Trina said: “This promotion will give me the opportunity to strengthen my relationship with the clients that I already deal with and add value to new clients that have been added to my portfolio.”
Also in the Tax department, Jacob Tanguy and Richard Rogers were promoted to Senior Supervisor and Manager respectively. In the Operations team Imogen Bach has been named Assistant Brand Manager.
Most of the promotions came from the Audit department, with Olga Stratulat being promoted to Senior Manager, and Emma Archenoul and Krista De La Mare taking Manager positions. Joining the BDO team only this February, Patrick Kweku-Duah Jnr celebrated his promotion to Audit Supervisor. He said of the achievement: “This promotion makes me feel recognised for my hard work and has encouraged me to grow and develop myself to further excel at what I do.”
Other Audit promotions include Courtney Allen, Raeesa Hoosain and Pavan Kurrun to Senior Supervisors, Genevieve Bougourd and Tatenda Mhongo to Senior Assistant Managers, and Simms Dortumor and Ellis Solway to Supervisors.
New Audit Manager Krista De La Mare, who joined BDO in 2012 as a trainee, reflected on her BDO journey: “I find working with trainees to help them develop their careers particularly rewarding. My client portfolio is widespread across sectors and locations – this variety along with the mix of operational structures adds a level of diversity to my work which I find really stimulating.”
