Apex Group, a global financial services provider, has announced the appointment of Alice Read as Country Head, Jersey at Apex Group.
In her role as Country Head, Jersey at Apex Group, Alice will report to James Burke, Regional Head of Northern Europe and Channel Islands and be responsible for providing leadership to the Jersey team, implementing and embedding The Group operational framework, and maximising growth and financial performance.
Alice joined Apex Group in 2021 as Commercial Director focussed on the commercial development of Apex Group’s Corporate Solutions service line globally and strengthening of existing client relationships. She previously held roles as Director of Corporate Services, Jersey and Managing Director, Dubai with Intertrust, with global experience working within Group Company Secretarial departments of FTSE 100 companies.
Apex Group’s Jersey presence has grown in recent months to employ 400 people, following the successful acquisition and integration of Sanne Group. According to figures from the Jersey Financial Services Commission, in the first half of 2022, the total net asset value of regulated funds administered in Jersey rose by almost £8bn to £485bn with 556 Jersey Private Funds registered in Jersey since the structure was launched in 2017.
Alice is a recent graduate of Apex Group’s inaugural Women’s Accelerator Program, a development initiative designed to drive equity for female progression and diversity at all levels within the Group. Over half of the women who participated in the 2022 Women’s Accelerator Program have secured job role progression or promotion since completing the program.
