HSBC has appointed Aline Ayotte as Head of Commercial Banking for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man to lead the bank’s growth plans for international and local businesses.
Aline joined HSBC over 20 years ago on the Bank’s graduate scheme and has spent her career in front line Commercial Banking roles in Canada, Hong Kong and London. Most recently, Aline was Regional Head of International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) and had responsibility for the ISB business across 17 countries in Europe, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Now based in Jersey, Aline will be leading the rapidly growing Commercial Banking division of HSBC into its next phase of growth, which looks at bringing improved service to the Bank’s local and international clients, which includes digital innovation and sustainable finance.
Commenting on her appointment, Aline said: “I’m very much looking forward to leading Commercial Banking in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. It’s an exciting time where HSBC is offering more than ever to its customers, both locally and internationally. With its service quality and focus on innovation and development, HSBC continues to be a leading international bank.”
