Qualified accountant Mollie Luce has been promoted to the newly created role of Assistant Accounts Manager and Data Analyst at independent Jersey trust company, Alex Picot Trust.
Mollie (pictured) joined Alex Picot Trust in 2019 as a trainee and completed her professional qualifications to become a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2021. She has since undertaken further study including the Core Alteryx Examination which has enabled her to gain knowledge around data management practices.
Hannah Roynon-Jones, Director at Alex Picot Trust, said: “Huge congratulations to Mollie on this well-deserved promotion. Joining us as an A Level school leaver, from day one, Mollie has put in the hard work required to study alongside gaining work experience as a trust accountant.
“Demonstrating maturity beyond her years she has approached her career progression in a professional manner and completed her professional examinations. Keen to progress further she has studied towards additional qualifications which will help shape her future at Alex Picot Trust.”
In the role of Assistant Accounts Manager and Data Analyst, Mollie is responsible for providing timely management information to the board; reviewing accounts prepared; training new team members; and assisting the Accounts Manager in managing the team’s workloads and deadlines on a day-to-day basis.
She will continue to support the directors and trust administration teams in providing financial information on a varied portfolio of local and global private clients.
Mollie said: “It was really important for me to have the ability to develop in my chosen career path and Alex Picot Trust has been supportive of my ambitions. This promotion is the natural next step for me to take, it’s nice to have recognition for the work I have put in and to be able to take on more responsibility as I develop my management skills.”
