The IoD Guernsey has launched a survey to uncover the use of technology, notably artificial intelligence, in the boardroom and how well equipped directors are to oversee the use of Artificial Intelligence in their organisations.
Focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and boardroom competence and confidence, the survey has been created by Chartered Director and Corporate Governance Institute Consultant, Bob Semple. Bob will be the keynote speaker at the IoD Mid Term event – AI in the Boardroom: Navigating a New Frontier in Governance.
The survey is tailored to gather the thoughts and opinions of business leaders, directors, and non-executive directors and will provide invaluable local board insights, offering a fresh perspective on the ever-evolving boardroom landscape.
Glen Tonks, IoD Chair, commented: “I strongly encourage members to participate in the survey. Technology has grown, and continues to grow, exponentially, and has risen up the boardroom agenda. The results from the survey will help shape future IoD events and educational sessions for members.”
The deadline to complete the survey is 5th March; the results will be discussed in detail at the IoD’s Mid-Term event on 13th March.
