Facilities management company, AFM has appointed a new commercial manager with over 20 years of director level experience in the UK facilities management industry.
Mark Powell, joins AFM from SPIE UK, a leading provider of hard facilities management and maintenance services, where he was head of business development prior to leading the retention of their two key facilities management accounts.
In his new role, based in Guernsey, Mark will be responsible for driving forward the development of new and existing business opportunities, including the launch of new services. He will also work on the development of bespoke solutions that ultimately support and enhance clients’ business.

Throughout his career, Mark has introduced new facilities management accounts for Waterstones, supporting in excess of 280 stores in the UK, Selfridges, including its flagship store in Oxford Street and sites in Birmingham and Manchester, and Cineworld’s UK portfolio. Mark has also been client side having operated the Estates Management Company for Stockley Park near Heathrow. Whilst working as strategic development director at Integral UK, Mark successfully managed major bids, including Nationwide Building Society, Dixons and RBS and represented Integral in UAE for a feasibility project on service charge to five major developments in the region on behalf of CBRE and Aldar.
