HSBC in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man has made two senior appointments within its Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) business as part of a new investment in enhancing the services available to its local retail and international expat customers.

Keith Driver has been made Head of Strategic Delivery and Cameron Senior joins as Head of Distribution for RBWM. Both roles, which are based in Jersey, are part of a growth strategy aimed at making banking simpler, faster and better aligned to customer needs today and tomorrow, locally and internationally.

Keith’s role will see him managing the evolution of HSBC’s expat and domestic businesses by introducing new products and improving digital and mobile services that all aim to make banking easier for customers and more tailored to their needs.

He has been at the Bank for 23 years, working in seven countries across retail banking, wealth and asset management, Islamic finance and insurance. Most recently, he supported a major change program for the Bank’s insurance business in China.Keith has also spent time as a private strategy consultant for banks and insurers and worked for two leading US Business Schools in Executive Education, Duke and Cornell.

Cameron Senior will be responsible for the frontline teams across the domestic and expat business, ensuring that customers receive the best experience possible in meeting their financial needs when dealing with HSBC, including through the Bank’s network of branches and contact centres.

Cameron has been with HSBC for over 20 years, working in Australia, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. He was most recently Head of Wealth & International and prior to that was Head of Distribution with HSBC in Singapore, responsible for the domestic branch network and the Premier International business in the jurisdiction. Cameron has also spent time in the UK where he played a key role in growing the Bank’s Premier International business.

Commenting on the appointments, John Goddard, Head of RBWM, HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said:

“We have exciting plans to transform our domestic and expat banking business and deliver sustainable long-term, customer-led growth. With their formidable international experience, I am confident that Keith and Cameron’s appointments will position us strongly for further success and help bring some really positive changes to benefit our customers in the islands as well as our expat customers around the world.”
