Global offshore law firm, Mourant, has advised Brazilian private equity firm IG4 Capital on a $107.26 million private equity deal.
Mourant advised in connection with an agreement with Alberta Investment Management Corporation to inject 400 million reais ($107.26 million) in the Brazilian water service holding company Iguá Saneamento SA through the investment vehicles and funds managed by IG4.
The proceeds will be used to finance capital expenditures in Iguá’s 18 existing concessions and public-private partnerships in five Brazilian states.
Mourant LP Partner Alistair Horn led Mourant’s advice in connection with the matter and was supported by Senior Associate Alex Henderson.
