Isle of Man law firm Cains has received top-tier rankings in the 2027 editions of Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, including an improved ranking for its Employment practice.
In the Chambers & Partners 2027 rankings, published on 15 October, Cains achieved Band 1 rankings in all three practice areas submitted for review: Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Employment. The Employment team moved up from Band 2 to Band 1, while 15 individual lawyers received rankings.
The firm also achieved Band 1 rankings in seven practice areas in The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2027: Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Gambling, Real Estate and Shipping & Aviation. Its Insurance and Pensions practice was also recommended.
A further 24 individual lawyer rankings were awarded by The Legal 500.
Both directories assess law firms through independent research, including client feedback and peer review.
Tristan Head (pictured), Chair of Cains, said: “These rankings are a tremendous achievement and are a testament to the expertise and commitment of our people. To receive Band 1 rankings across all of our practice areas in Chambers & Partners, including the promotion of our Employment team, is particularly pleasing. The significant number of individual lawyer rankings across both directories also reflects the depth of talent we have throughout the firm.
“Most importantly, we would like to thank our clients for taking the time to participate in the research process and for the confidence they continue to place in us. Their feedback is invaluable, and these results are a direct reflection of the strong relationships we have built and the trusted advice we strive to deliver every day.”
