Mourant has appointed Scott Sebire as a Guernsey Director in its Governance Services business.
He joins the firm with extensive experience gained across the international funds industry, most recently serving as Finance Director for a leading global investment manager.
Scott (pictured) has over 15 years’ experience across the international funds and financial services industry, with a proven track record leading finance, fund operations, governance and strategic initiatives for complex cross-border structures. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with boards, investors and service providers to support growth, operational excellence and strong governance frameworks.
He has extensive experience across both open and closed-ended fund structures, spanning asset classes including venture capital, private equity, debt, listed structures and digital assets. His international expertise covers fund and corporate structures across Guernsey, the Cayman Islands, BVI, Luxembourg, Canada, France, the Middle East and Asia.
Alongside financial reporting and operational functions, Scott has also worked across both corporate and fund management entities in collaboration with service providers, auditors, tax advisors and legal teams, to keep operations aligned with long-term strategy.
Scott will play a key role in the continued expansion of Mourant Governance Services, leading the fund services business in Guernsey and leveraging his extensive industry experience to support clients throughout the fund lifecycle, enhance operational and governance solutions and contribute to the growth of the firm’s international funds platform.
