Sure by Beyon has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Daniel Bobu as Group Chief Business Officer.
Daniel’s career has spanned multiple telecommunications markets, working in senior roles in Romania, London, and now the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. He gained 17 years of experience at Vodafone, most recently as Global Head of Broadband and Digital Security.
He previously led the Global Unified Communications portfolio, experience that will support Sure’s focus on Cloud voice and Microsoft Teams connectivity.
In his new role, Daniel (pictured) will be responsible for identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth across the business, with a particular focus on strengthening Sure’s business offering and helping organisations embrace the next generation of digital technologies.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time for Sure’s next phase of growth, with significant investment being made to improve connectivity for customers through the introduction of 5G and the roll out of fibre broadband.
Sure by Beyon CEO Alistair Beak said: “This is an important appointment for Sure as we make significant improvements to our network and services. It’s a time of rapid innovation and change for the business, and under Daniel’s leadership, we can deliver an even stronger commercial approach to connectivity and digital services.
“Daniel brings extensive international experience and a strong understanding of the evolving needs of business customers. As we continue investing in our networks, data centres and digital capabilities, his expertise will help us translate that investment into innovative solutions that deliver real value for our customers.”
Daniel said: “I’m excited to be joining Sure at such a crucial time. The business stands out for its strong industry reputation and commitment to its customers and local communities, so I’m incredibly proud to be contributing to its success.
“Having worked in technology for more than 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions for enterprises and government organisations, helping them grow and create greater value for customers. I look forward to bringing that experience to Sure, helping businesses and communities across our jurisdictions thrive and contributing to economic prosperity through digital innovation and technology.”
