The Blonde Hedgehog in Alderney has retained its Michelin Key, appearing in the Michelin Guide’s 2026 selection for the second consecutive year.
The boutique hotel in St Anne, Alderney received its first Michelin Key in 2025 and is once again included in the prestigious selection of hotels recognised by the Michelin Guide. The Blonde Hedgehog and Longueville Manor in Jersey are the two Michelin Key hotels listed in the Channel Islands for 2026.
The Michelin Key recognises hotels that offer an exceptional stay, with properties considered for their individual character, architecture and design, quality and consistency of service, contribution to their destination and the overall guest experience.
Julie-Anne Uggla, owner of The Blonde Hedgehog, and Tracey Farquhar-Beck, Director, said: “We were genuinely thrilled when The Blonde Hedgehog received its first Michelin Key last year, so to see that we have retained it for 2026 is incredibly special. We are a small hotel on a very small island, and everything we do is centred around giving our guests a warm and personal experience of Alderney.
