Viberts has announced the addition of three new Advocates to the firm which will greatly increase the breath of expertise in the local law firm. The three new advocates include a partner and an associate showing that these are high level appointments.
Paul Wilson has joined the firm as a partner and will head the corporate team alongside Advocate Christopher Scholefield. Paul, who is both Jersey and English qualified brings 25 years of experience with him in all aspects of corporate and employment law. Paul has been recognised by the legal directories as being a leading practitioner in corporate and commercial work and has an enviable reputation for resolving complex issues in a cost-effective way. Paul joins an excellent team of lawyers in the commercial and corporate field and will ensure that they are the team to watch in this area of law.
Giles Emmanuel joins the already highly regarded litigation and dispute resolution team as an Associate. Giles has over 20 years’ experience dealing with all aspects of litigation including insolvency and building disputes. Giles joins Advocate Christina Hall and Advocate Rebecca Morley-Kirk and ensures that this team are one of the strongest in Jersey for litigation and dispute resolution.
Natalie Addis has joined the family law team as an Advocate. Viberts is already recognised as having an exceedingly strong family law team and Natalie will add to the expertise of Advocate Rose Colley and Advocate Jamie Orchard. Natalie is experienced in the whole range of family law work from financial resolution to complex children matters.
Viberts has also once again strengthened its property law team with the appointment of Christina (‘Chrissie’) Thorne as a Legal Assistant. Chrissie has many years of experience dealing with share transfer properties, flying freeholds and re-mortgaging in Jersey. She is extremely well thought of by both her colleagues and her clients for dealing with matters efficiently and effectively.
