DFDS has reported increased passenger numbers on its Jersey routes during June, with growth recorded on its Poole and St Malo services.
The largest increase was recorded on the Poole–Jersey route, where passenger numbers rose by 21% compared with June last year.
Passenger traffic also increased by 8% on the St Malo–Jersey service, while numbers on the Portsmouth–Jersey route remained broadly in line with June 2025.
The figures follow increased demand on DFDS’s Jersey routes during the early part of the summer season.
Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey at DFDS, said: “We are very encouraged by the growth recorded on our Poole and St Malo services, while passenger numbers on the Portsmouth route have remained steady.
“These figures suggest that customers continue to value the choice, reliability and range of services we provide, including high-speed connections to the UK and France alongside our conventional overnight service to Portsmouth.”
