Visit Isle of Man has published its latest visitor figures alongside its Annual Visitor Economy Report for 2025.
The figures highlight another successful year for the Island’s tourism industry and significant progress towards the ambitions set out in the ten-year visitor economy strategy, ‘Our Island, Our Future.’
The latest figures show that the Isle of Man welcomed 352,301 visitors during 2025, an increase of 6.9% from 2024 figures, with a total value to the economy now valued at £433.4 million annually. This represents growth of 138% since 2015 and demonstrates the increasing value of tourism to local businesses and the wider visitor economy.
The findings also show that tourism generated an additional £211 million in economic value between 2023 and 2025, underlining the success of efforts to attract new, high spending visitors in markets that reflect the Island’s existing offer and benefiting the Isle of Man as a whole.
Visitor satisfaction remained exceptionally high, with 99.2% of visitors reporting they were satisfied or very satisfied with their experience, increasing from 98.7% in 2024, and reinforcing the Island’s reputation as an extraordinary destination that continues to delight visitors and exceed expectations.
In addition, tourism activity delivered an estimated £43.3 million in exchequer benefit in 2025, representing approximately £11 million additional benefit compared with 2024.
Published alongside the figures, the 2025 Annual Visitor Economy Report provides a comprehensive review of progress against Visit Isle of Man’s ‘Our Island, Our Future’ strategy. The report assesses performance against the strategic targets agreed for 2032, highlights achievements delivered across the Agency’s key action programmes and priorities, and sets out an overarching vision for the next phase of growth between 2026 and 2029, with more details to follow.
The report demonstrates significant progress since the ten-year strategy was published in 2022. While the total value of the visitor economy has grown to over £433 million, average visitor spend has already exceeded its original 2032 target of £620 per visitor, reaching £789 per visitor in 2025.
It also outlines future priorities across destination marketing, quality improvement, product development, accommodation transformation, events development, skills development and improving connectivity to the Island, supported by a continued focus on delivering a higher-value, more sustainable and year-round visitor economy.

Welcoming more than 352,000 visitors is an achievement in itself, but what is particularly encouraging is the increasing value tourism is generating for our Island and the exceptionally high levels of visitor satisfaction we continue to achieve.
“The 2025 Annual Visitor Economy Report provides an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come since launching ‘Our Island, Our Future’ and, importantly, will inform where we go next. It demonstrates the progress being made across our strategic priorities, shows how we are tracking against our 2032 ambitions and provides a clear roadmap for the next phase of delivery.
“What is particularly encouraging is that we are not simply growing visitor numbers; we are growing value. Average visitor spend has already exceeded the target originally set for 2032, accounting for inflation, visitor satisfaction has reached 99.2%, essentially a 10 out of 10 in Net Promoter Score terms, and tourism is now worth more than £433 million to the wider economy. These are strong indicators that our long-term approach is creating lasting benefits for residents, businesses, communities and visitors alike.”
