Wayte Travel has announced a sponsorship partnership with Jersey golfer Adam Dalton as he continues to compete in disability golf events internationally.
The 21-year-old, who was born with congenital limb deficiency, is currently ranked 20th in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD), having reached a career-high ranking of 10th in 2025.
Adam has also been selected to represent Team Europe in the Cairns Cup, a Ryder Cup-style event for disabled golfers taking place at San Roque Golf Club in Spain this July.
The sponsorship will support Adam as he competes in tournaments across Europe and further afield.
His achievements include multiple top 10 finishes in international competitions, as well as his first international victory at the Grand Prix du Vaudreuil in France in 2025.
Garry Lloyd, Managing Director of Wayte Travel, said: “I have known Adam for a number of years and his growth in the sport is really remarkable. Adam’s story is one of resilience, positivity and excellence. With Wayte Travel having a Jersey presence, we are passionate about supporting local people who are achieving extraordinary things on the world stage. We are delighted to be part of Adam’s journey and look forward to following his continued success. Adam embodies the values of determination and perseverance that inspire so many people, and we are proud to support him as he continues to break barriers in the game of golf.”
Adam Dalton said: “I am incredibly grateful to Wayte Travel for their support. Competing internationally requires significant travel and commitment, and having the backing of a respected Jersey business will make a real difference. I’m excited about the season ahead and proud to represent both Jersey and my sponsors wherever I compete.”
