More than a third of the team at Crestbridge Family Office Services are now accredited Mental Health First Aiders after having completed training as part of the firm’s continued partnership with local charity Youthful Minds.

Ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week this month, managers from across Crestbridge Family Office Services (FOS) team were offered the opportunity to take part in the Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) training. With the latest cohort now successfully trained, 35% of the Jersey team are accredited MHFAs.

MHFA training aims to provide people with the knowledge to identify signs of mental health conditions, give them the skills to be able to provide initial support and signpost to professional help. It also aims to help foster and support a culture of mental wellbeing in the workplace. The training was delivered by Mind Jersey, of which Youthful Minds is a part.

Mental Health Awareness Week, which this year takes place from 11 – 17 May, is an annual event dedicated to increasing awareness about mental health and well-being. It seeks to educate the public on issues surrounding mental health, promote open dialogue, and encourage individuals to seek help if needed.

Heather Tibbo, CEO, Crestbridge FOS, said: “We have a strong commitment as a business to promoting a culture of positive mental wellbeing in the workplace and to enabling our team, so they have the skills they need to support each other at work and in their personal lives. I’m really pleased that, through our ongoing partnership with Youthful Minds and against the backdrop of Mental Health Awareness Week, so many of our team opted to take up this valuable opportunity to become accredited Mental Health First Aiders.”
